What makes ALEIRA different
A pupil tries, gets carefully bounded help, then checks what they remember without AI. ALEIRA links those steps to evidence a teacher can review. School pilots will test whether that improves learning and teaching decisions.
Use assessed work and practice evidence to see which ideas need attention, rather than relying on completion counts.
Teacher-set tutoring policies and course material support targeted hints, while staff retain control of graded decisions.
Delayed, AI-withheld checks distinguish assisted success from what a pupil can still do independently.
Begin with one subject and familiar teaching material. Moodle import is available; you do not have to replace LernSax, IServ or other systems to evaluate ALEIRA. Direct integrations are scoped separately.
Workflow-specific model choices, usage limits and optional local retrieval/background jobs can control costs. Live learner answers still use cloud AI; local hardware is not presented as a fully offline tutor.
Published plans start at £10 / €12 per learner per year (Light AI); Everyday AI is £38 / €44. Included allowances and extra live/AI use have separate terms. Educational impact is not yet a proven result.

Possible safeguarding concerns in tutor conversations are flagged to the designated leads you set, with access restricted.

Yes. Sign up as an admin and ALEIRA creates your own organisation. The admin role includes everything a teacher can do, so you can build courses, teach live and invite your students and their parents with a code.
Nothing is deleted. After 30 days your organisation becomes read-only until you choose a plan. You don’t need a card to start.

From your course: lessons, documents and other material you’ve added. Answers show which material they drew on, so you can check them.
Yes. ALEIRA is built for schools in the UK and Germany, and you can switch between English and German at any time. A few screens inside the app are still being translated.
Yes. The privacy notice is public, and our DPA (AVV), sub-processor list and retention matrix are available for review as drafts. We hold no certifications and don’t describe ourselves as compliant.
No. Start with one class or subject and existing course material; Moodle course import is supported. Direct LernSax, IServ or Schullogin integration is not a standard claim and would be scoped separately.
Teachers and schools choose a Light or Everyday AI plan, with visible allowances. ALEIRA applies per-workflow model policies and usage limits. Some retrieval and background work can run on an optional school-edge device; live pupil answers still rely on cloud models.
AI that evaluates learning outcomes is classed as high-risk under the AI Act, with those obligations applying from 2 December 2027. We are building towards that now: AI recommendations are stored with the evidence behind them and what the teacher decided. We don’t claim conformity today.
